An indulgence of my taste buds.

As a teenager, experimenting on different types of food is common now a days. From rice to viands, pastas to bread and pastries, and desserts to drinks. I have found my love on bread and pastries. I love experimenting on the different types of breads and pastries as well.

My first love was Goldilock's© Classic Polvoron.   I discovered eating it when I was a child. Polvoron is a powdered milk candy, made of flour, sugar butter and powdered milk. My mom used to request a box of Goldilock's© Polvoron as a souvenir from Philippines. Until I grew up, Goldilock's© Classic Polvoron has never failed my taste bud's expectations.

Philippine-made Spanish bread turned out to be my second love back in my early teenage days. My discovery of love for Spanish bread was back then when my dad and I went to a trip at a Filipino bakery. Spanish bread is a type of rolled bread with milk, butter and sugar filling. When I grab a bite of this type of bread, it brings all the memories back when I was still in elementary.

During my late high school days, my aunt brought home a plastic full of bread and pastries. She handed me a swirl type of bread and said to taste it because indeed I might like it. After grabbing a bite of the bread she gave me, I fell in love with it since then. I asked her, "What is the name of this bread?" and "What is this made of?". Since that mouthwatering experience, I fell in love with Cinnamon Rolls. Cinnamon Roll  consists of a rolled sheet dough onto which a cinnamon and sugar mixture is sprinkled over a thin coat of butter.

This past months, my husband and I strolled at a mall. He also has a love for bread, so he took me to a bread store named BreadTalk©. Their all time favorite bread is Flosss©. The recipe is a chef's top secret. There are many varieties of bread sold at BreadTalk©, from different sizes and shape to it's color and taste. Their breads and buns are made up of different types of recipes which will tingle your taste buds from it's unique taste. We would never go home without one. From that day on, I fell in love with the different kinds of bread sold at BreadTalk©.

Up to now, I am still willing to experiment on different types of bread still to come. Who knows, I might fall in love on a new variety of bread and pastry when I taste one. I believe experimentation is an endless process in a person's life. So what are you waiting for. Grab a bread or pastry, and it might be your next love. You could share your story as well.

Our world stopping momentous moment...

School has ended and summer had just begun.
I could still hardly remember the first day we’ve decided to meet.
What was I feeling?
What was going on my mind?
What were my plans?
I felt so excited for that moment to come,
I thought of many different random things at a time,
and I didn’t want to plan on anything to spoil the upcoming moment.
That moment was worth anticipating because of the long wait.
The big day had came and few minutes left before we finally meet.
I felt so excited and nervous at the same time,
thinking about what would my first reaction be when I see him
and what to say to him when we would finally meet in person.
Finally after the long wait,
the most anticipated moment came.
I saw him walking from a distant
recognizing his face from afar.
My heart stopped at that moment,
and then it started to beat faster and faster
until I felt the world stopped when we were closer
I could not explain what I was feeling at that moment.
I kept blushing because I was madly in love with him.
After the heavenly lunch we had,
great movie we’ve watched,
long walks we had, and sweet talks
we sat by the seaside.
After exchanging laughters and stories,
there was this unexplainable feeling when
we suddenly looked into each others eye
It felt like the world stopped again as my lips got closer to his.
And in a matter of seconds, his lips was touching mine.
I felt so much love and passion as the kiss went on and on.
And I could say that it was a world stopping momentous moment that I could’t forget. It was our first kiss which was at the seaside and it felt oh so romantic. Words just couldn’t explain how memorable it was.

What was it like, Life after knowing you.

Life felt completely meaningless back then.
Not knowing where I was heading to with what I am pursuing.
Feeling so incomplete and relentless.
Lack of understanding and eloquence.

But that was back then.
Look at where I am now.
Getting to know a person like you seems unbelievable,
It's like a fairytale come true.
Knowing that prince charming still do exist in the present time.

I could not believe how enthusiastic you are,
not only on what you do but with who you are.
Which made me believe life is not just a series of routine,
but viewing life being immersed with hope and dreams.

No one has ever been so dedicated with life like you do.
Which made me view the world in a different perspective,
Thank you for touching my life like no one else did before.
You have been the best part of me,
and you completely changed me into a different person.

I Love My Man.
